Formularies

A Joint Formulary aims to promote safe, effective, and economic prescribing in both primary and secondary care, providing guidance on locally recommended drug choices. In compiling the formulary consideration is given to aspects of effectiveness, safety, appropriateness and cost effectiveness.

North & East Devon Formulary

The North & East Devon Formulary is produced in collaboration with Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, Devon Partnership NHS Trust, North Devon District Hospital and the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. The aim of the formulary is to promote safe, effective, and economic prescribing in primary and secondary care, providing guidance on locally recommended drug choices.

The South & West Devon Formulary

The South & West Devon Formulary is produced in collaboration with Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, Devon Partnership NHS Trust, South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group, Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, Plymouth Community Health, South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Torbay and Southern Devon Health and Care. The aim of the formulary is to promote safe, effective, and economic prescribing in primary and secondary care, providing guidance on locally recommended drug choices.
