Triangle of Care accreditation

Our inpatient wards and Home Treatment Teams have achieved Stage 1 of the Triangle of Care kitemark from the Carers Trust.

The teams have undertaken rigorous self-assessments to demonstrate how they are embedding the Triangle of Care standards and their commitment to ongoing improvements and clear carer involvement.

We will be undertaking our Stage 2 during 2018 with a full self-assessment of both Community and Specialist Services.

The Triangle of Care membership scheme is designed to:

• improve service delivery
• highlight good practice
• ensure consistency of carer involvement across an organisation
• build partnership working between statutory and third sector organisations
• build a carer inclusive/whole family/network approach to care.
