Since the COVID-19 outbreak there has been a huge amount of effort to rapidly open some urgent public health “sleeping studies”. The information below is to keep you informed of the national picture and also how Devon Partnership NHS Trust Research & Development department is contributing to COVID-19 research activity.
To date the following studies have opened in UK acute Trusts and some are taking place in Partnership Trusts as well:
The Recovery trial – A multi arm randomised controlled trial of medication - Not currently open at Devon Partnership Trust but may be in the future if opened up to community and mental health trusts
Principle – A study recruiting through GP surgeries. There are multiple surgeries within our locality who are taking part in this study.

ISARIC CCP - An international observational study producing a large data set relating to COVID19 symptoms, hospitalisation and mortality.
PAN-COVID – An observational study of pregnant women and neonates.
