Celebrating Achievement Awards 2017

 

The 2017 Celebrating Achievement Awards ceremony took place on 4 December at Exeter Golf and Country Club. All those shortlisted attended the event to hear who the winners and highly commended recipients were in each of the categories.

The event was Opened by Chair Julie Dent CBE and Chief Executive Melanie Walker.

This year there were a record number of 140 nominations for staff, service users and partners.

Attendees enjoyed a cream tea and afternoon of entertainment from Shine Music Devon and ‘A Pint Sized Conversation’ theatre group.

Acting as Master of Ceremonies, Alison Dean, Assistant Director Organisational and Workforce Development, introduced the presenters in each category and the event culminated with Lifetime Achievement Awards presented by Melanie Walker and the Board Award presented by Julie Dent.

Who was nominated?

Each person shortlisted received a certificate and a copy of the Awards Programme, which gave details of why they were nominated and who nominated them.

Everyone else that was nominated receives a letter of congratulations.
